About Instructional Design by Ann Magdziasz

Prior to learning Instructional Design, in every professional position I have held, I have always been the person who trains the new hires. Due to this, it seemed logical to pursue becoming a licensed educator. I have over 13 years of experience in education, as a teacher and an instructional coach for adults. As an instructional coach, I observed and analyzed the strengths and weaknesses of subject matter experts in order to design and develop training for their needs while implementing best practices for integrating technology skills. My experiences working with adult learners began my path and interest to starting Instructional Design by Ann Magdziasz.

I have always been a life-long learner, trying out new ideas and reflecting to see how they can be modified and improved. When I started learning about instructional design, it was no different. Adult learning theory, design theory, webinars, training sessions, I jumped right in and started learning to continue to learn and grow the skills needed to advance my abilities.

When I do not have my nose in a book or in a training to further Instructional Design by Ann Magdziasz, you can find me at the softball field, either watching my daughter’s college team or umpiring, or getting in a workout at the gym with my dog.
